WHAT IS RESILIENCE AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT
BOXING, FITNESS AND NUTRITION
One to one and small group sessions based around learning boxing, improving fitness and healthy eating. The boxing training is the primary method used for self development of the young people and also links to education accredited awards scheme.
Mentoring is essentially about helping people to develop more effectively. It describes a relationship in which a more experienced person uses their knowledge and understanding to support the development of the less experienced person.
ENGAGEMENT WITH EDUCATION
Engagement with education and education support involves applying a modern understanding around the different reasons that cause a young person to disengage from learning.
It also involves working with the school to help them deliver more effective strategies for managing young people.
Our referral process involves assessment and planning, enabling staff to develop a programme and an Individual Education Plan.
