Reading University Centre for Entrepreneurship

“Matt came to deliver a session about Boxing Evolution at a Social Enterprise Workshop here at the University of Reading. Matt was an enthusiastic and inspirational speaker and it was fantastic to hear about his journey in the lead up to founding Boxing Evolution through to the current day, and the people that he has impacted along the way. I feel that Matt’s passion and honesty left the students feeling inspired and deepened their understanding of social enterprise, where enthusiasm and belief in what you are doing is as important as the business knowledge itself. It is fantastic to hear that Matt is being recognised and getting the support he deserves from organisations such as the Prince’s Trust and I wish him all the best for the future.”

Reading Football Club Community Trust

I incorporated the workshops into a coach education course I delivered here at Reading FC Community Trust in partnership with the Prince’s Trust aimed at up skilling and motivating hard to reach young people. Matt delivered the workshop midway through a very physically and mentally tiring football programme which was difficult in itself, but the workshop was excellent and gave the group fresh impetus. The workshops are relevant, interactive and are delivered by staff who young people can relate too, thanks again!”

The Prince’s Trust

“Boxing Evolution challenges all participants physically certainly, but more importantly, invites you to re-consider previously held values and beliefs. Matthew creates exceptional rapport with his groups and is able to influence even the most reluctant to work with him. The messages Boxing Evolution impart are eclectic and highly successful. They have explored and understood many schools of self-development to create excellent models and very recognisable analogies. In addition, the group work is fun, demanding in more ways than one and leaves participants feeling they are embarking on a highly worthwhile journey”.
