Tatsumaki Dojo is a martial arts centre in the heart of Slough, which evolved out of a need for a permanent matted dojo for Slough Centre Aikido Club. The building was originally occupied by Express newspapers and substantial refurbishment and re-arrangement has taken place to make the most of the space available.
Tatsumaki boasts 3 dojos (training areas):- Ground floor. There is a fully matted dojo, with a training area of 100 sq metres. There are also 3 treatment rooms, ladies and gents changing rooms, a martial arts shop and reception/ waiting area, ladies, gents and disabled toilets. On the first floor is a flexible dojo, training area 40 sq metres, which is fully carpeted, also on this floor ladies’ toilets. On the second floor is the large dojo, complete with rubberised sports floor, punch and kick bags and a training area of 160 sq metres, also serviced by more ladies’ and gents’ changing rooms. On the top floor is an office and corporate training room.
Tatsumaki Dojo also offers a range of other Martial arts such as Aikido, Kickboxing, Fencing, Hapkido, Wing Chun Kung fu.
